В статье рассматриваются основные подходы к определению термина предпринимательства в экономической теории К. Менгера, Т. Веблена, Й. Шумпетера, П. Друкера и других экономистов. Раскрыты особенности трансформации предпринимательской функции, действительное назначение предпринимателя в преобразовании условий производства. Рассмотрен новый фактор производства – интеллектуальный капитал. The article is devoted to the key works of K. Menger, T. Veblen, J. Schumpeter, P. Drucker and other economists the typological features of entrepreneurship in the economic theory are shown. The specificity of the actions of the entrepreneur due to the adoption of risk, activities of entrepreneur as an organizer of production, owner of capital and manager. The features of the transformation of the entrepreneurial function, the key role of the entrepreneur in transformation of product conditions. A new factor of production - intellectual capital - is considered.
