The paper describes the experience of undertaking projects to reduce various costs when manufacturing defense products in the Joint Stock Company “GOZ Obukhov Plant”, based on the principles of lean manufacturing. The study introduces the methods and tools for solving the problems with losses at each stage of production and demonstrates the potential and real economic impact of the projects and lean manufacturing
