“Men Coblong” are 58’s of manuscript essays written by Oka Rusmini in the Bali Post and continued on balebengong.id with various themes. The purpose of this research is to find out the moral messages related to the phenomenon of education in Indonesia which is experienced by the character based on the 3  selected essays. The method chosen is a study of literary phenomenology with a character education approach. The result is that there is character education based on the phenomena experienced by the character in relation to honesty, tolerance, and family education. The research implication is that the reader takes the implicit moral based on the character's experience. “Men Coblong” merupakan naskah 58 esai yang ditulis Oka Rusmini di Bali Post dan dilanjutkan di balebengong.id dengan tema yang beragam. Tujuan penelitiannya adalah untuk mengetahui pesan moral berkaitan dengan fenomena pendidikan di Indonesia yang dialami oleh sang tokoh berdasarkan 3 esai yang dipilih. Metode yang dipilih adalah kajian fenomenologi sastra dengan pendekatan pendidikan karakter. Hasilnya adalah terdapat pendidikan karakter berdasarkan fenomena yang dialami oleh sang tokoh berkaitan dengan kejujuran, toleransi, dan pendidikan keluarga. Implikasi penelitiannya adalah pembaca mengambil moral tersirat berdasarkan pengalaman sang tokoh.
