This research is aimed to describe the learningof writing thetext of the observation reportusing the discovery model. This research includes the introductory research, planning, execution, observation, and reflektion. The introductory research held before te execution. The planning held to plan the execution procedure, data source and determine the observation form. Then the execution and ended with rflektion. The data of this research is process data and result action from observatio, interview, field record, and documentation. The source of the ata is teacher andstudents in teaching and lerning process. this activity is in two cycles. The result of the research shown that discocery learning model can incrase student ability in the learning of writing the text of the observation report. this is shown in cycle one and two. In cycle one the lowest mark is 30 and highest is 95 with the avarege 58, 29. While in the second cycle the lowest mark is 70 and highest is 100 with the average 84,82. Based on this research, it is suggested to the teacher that in the learning of writing the text of the observation report they shold follow the discovery learning model.
