The maternal mortality continues to be a concern for both the medical organizations and for the factors responsible with the identification of causes and with the disposal of this matter. Although the recorded tendency of the maternal mortality in Romania has been decreasing in the last years, it still remains at a high level compared to the average recorded in the geographical zone we are situated in.
