Education today is lot more complex with explosion of knowledge, tools and techniques of learning. Learning is no more restricted to classroom or teacher only. Learning multiple concepts from multiple sources is the need of the hour. Trainee Teachers must be well acquainted with different learning resources and tools to shape the future generations. Edmodo is one such effective web 2.0 tool for effective learning. The present study aims to examine the perceptions of trainee teachers about the use of Edmodo as a learning tool. The study is descriptive. Perceptions of trainee teachers in effective use of Edmodo as a learning tool are analyzed using a five point likert scale. The findings indicated that the trainee teachers have high levels of perception for the use of Edmodo as a learning tool.
