A new species of the genus Manulea Wallengren, 1863, M. hokopo sp. n. is described from the island of Taiwan. The new species is similar to M. costipuncta Leech, 1890 widely distributed in mainland China, Hainan Island and North Vietnam. Adults, male and female genitalia of both species are illustrated.
