The article is a presentation of a report read at the Second Bibikhin Readings on December 10–12, 2020. The idea of the beginning of thought is the main one. An attempt is made to comprehend the moment when something begins, which is difficult to grasp, because the expressed thought is a thought that has already shown itself. Augustine, speaking of time, compared it with stretching the soul, primarily with the thought of death, for it was time that introduced it into life. I wanted to grasp such a thought in speech, in a gesture of speech through what is said, and through the utterance of what is said, when, in fact, a distortion of thought occurs, which makes an attempt to align itself through endless corrections and clarifications. When pronouncing/writing, there is a transition from time 0 to its beginning. Vladimir Veniaminovich drew attention to this implicitness of thought, since the beginning must occur in the element of free thinking. "Decisive occurs in the first invisible nonspatial movement of the mind". Bibikhin called this the desire for "contact with the rare".
