In the article, modern international regulations of an open sea fishing
are given. The propositions of global and Russian agreements, regulating
fisheries under such conditions are analyzed. A special attention is
paid to foreign law including EU. Some recommendations on Russian
regulations improving regarding open sea fishing are formulated .
