Метод описания лингвистического ландшафта (ЛЛ) города рассматривается в свете смены эпистемы и особенностей постнеклассических познавательных установок, меняющих представление онормах и ценностях научного познания и отказывающихся от разграничения объекта и процесса в пользу процессуальности объекта. Утверждается изменение представлений о языке и его интерпретация как средства доступа к нелингвистическому знанию (язык как симптом), в результате чего языкознание в ряде случаев начинает играть роль набора вспомогательных методов для получения данных в других сферах знания. The method for describing the linguistic landscape (LL) of a city is considered in the light of changes in the episteme and features of post-non-classical cognitive attitudes, changing the notion of the norms and values of scientific knowledge and refusing to distinguish between an object and a process in favor of the processuality of the object. It also confirms the change in the concept of language and its interpretation as a means of access to non-linguistic knowledge (language as a symptom), as a result of which linguistics in some cases begins to play the role of a set of auxiliary methods for obtaining data in other areas of knowledge.
