The varietal characteristics in the content of the main photosynthetic pigments and dry substances in the leaves of Chrysanthemum × hortorum Bailey have been determined. Significant differences in indicators were noted depending on the growing conditions in open and closed grounds. The dynamics of the accumulation of chlorophylls, carotenoids and dry substances in different periods of flowering (budding and mass flowering) has been studied.
