Information update of the database "Crop Wild Relatives of Russia" has been started. Based on the review of the modern botanical online resources, the concept of the database development is presented and its structure is developed, which includes six thematic blocks: "Taxa", "General description", "Use", "Distribution", "Conservation", "Images.
