An integral part of any production is to ensure industrial and natural safety. One of the potential solutions to such problems can be considered as modeling and visualization of emergency situations, as well as their analysis. The authors of the article propose to use geographic information system technologies in order to conduct primary risk assessment by simulating the propagation of an explosive shock wave in emergencies associated with the rupture of vessels under high pressure.
