Some opportunities to apply the paradigm of symbolic formalisms for solving planning and coordination problems in netcentric civil (commercial) systems is shown. An approach to solving these problems with the help of numerical assessments of the degree of situation awareness of persons making decisions on managing componentsof a netcentric system is proposed.
