The article is based on the biographical interview with B.I. Gurevich, who is a leading researcher of ICTREMRM KSC RAS. She began her work at the KBAS USSR in 1954. The article contains biographical information, memories about childhood and wartime difficulties, years of study at the institute, scientific work in various locations at the Kola Peninsula, the vicissitudes of the scientific path of a woman researcher. All the photographsprovided are from the personal archive of B.I. Gurevich.
