En este trabajo mostramos un análisis cualitativo que nos permite explorar el grado de cumplimiento de las características estructurales definidas por el Modelo de Sistemas Viables en proyectos software desarrollados por empresas del sector TIC en Castilla y León. Con este diagnóstico pretendemos detectar las carencias que puedan deteriorar o poner en peligro la viabilidad de dichos proyectos, intentando así disminuir su número de fracasos. Además, el trabajo ofrece una guía para los Directores de proyectos software, que puede extenderse a Directores de proyectos/organizaciones en general, que les permita diagnosticar o diseñar la estructura de los proyectos/organizaciones de los que son responsables con marcadas características de viabilidad.Palabras clave: Pensamiento Sistémico, Cibernética Organizacional, Modelo de Sistemas Viables, Proyecto Software, Diagnóstico Estructural.Qualitative analysis of Viable Systems Model on software projects in the ICT sector in Castilla y LeónAbstract: This paper shows a qualitative analysis that allows explore the fulfillment degree of the structural characteristics defined by Viable Systems Model in software projects developed by companies in ICT sector in Castilla y León. With this diagnostic we aim to identify gaps that may impair or endanger such projects viability, attempting to reduce their failure number. In addition, the work provides a guideline for Software Project Managers, which can be extended to projects/organizations Managers in general, any kind of project or organization, which let them to diagnose or design the structure of those projects/organizations of which they are responsible with marked viability characteristics.Keywords: Systems Thinking, Organizational Cybernetics, Viable System Model, Software Project, Structural Diagnosis.
