Profile Dra. Bertha Patricia Ceballos Vázquez

Patricia was born in Mexico City (then DF) on June 3, 1966 and was the third of five children. She since she was little she she liked the sea and reading about the marine life. She studied in Vocational 6, since she decided Study biology. There she also got involved in sports activities, becoming selected from IPN in handball. She later she entered the National School of Biological Sciences where she studied a semester, but her passion was the sea, for she what she at 18 years old she came to La Paz. and she knows she enrolled in the Marine Biology Career at UABCS, where she studied from 1985 to 1989. Her master's degree was obtained at the CICIMAR-IPN from 1991 to 1993 and her degree Doctor of Science with orientation in aquaculture at CIBNor in 2003
