New records of 27 species of marine mollusks from the Pacific coast of El Salvador (central America) are presented. The checklist includes 112 individuals of 11 bivalves and 16 gastropods species from El Tamarindo estuary. These were collected with a hand box-corer during an expedition on macrobenthos research between February and July, 2005. Habitat and relevant observations of eachspecies are provided.
