Челканцы — тюркоязычный народ, коренной малочисленный народ РФ, проживающий в Республике Алтай. По последней переписи 2010 г. официально численность челканцев составляет 1181 человек. В основе охотничье-промысловой культуры челканского народа заключена вся мудрость народа, свод правил жизни, практическая философия, накопленная веками. Chelkans are Turkic-speaking people, an indigenous small-numbered people of the Russian Federation, living in the Altai Republic. According to the last census of 2010, the official population of Chelkans is 1181 people. The basis of the hunting and trading culture of the Chеlkan people is all the wisdom of the people, a set of rules ofl ife, a practical philosophy accumulated over the centuries.
