To investigate the relationship between the expression of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) and oncogenesis, tumor angiogenesis and metastasis in gastric carcinoma, and to evaluate the clinical significance of serum VCAM-1 levels in gastric cancer.
