To study the activity of telomerase and the expression of human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) in colorectal carcinoma and its adjacent tissues, normal mucosa and adenomatoid polyp, and to evaluate their relation with carcinogenesis and progression of colorectal carcinoma.
