Cytotoxin-associated protein (antigen) A (CagA) plays an important role in Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) pathogenesis. Our aim was to obtain cagA- mutant strains by a new mutation method so as to better understand the mechanism of CagA in epithelial cells.
