To investigate the mechanisms of tegaserod, a partial 5-HT4 agonist, in reducing visceral sensitivity by observing Fos, substance P (SP) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) expression in the lumbarsacral spinal cord induced by colonic inflammation in rats.
