To evaluate the effects of interferon-alpha-2b (IFN-alpha-2b) on expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) inoculated in nude mice and to study the underlying mechanism of IFN-alpha-2b against HCC growth.
