The methodological basics for supporting the economic security of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation on the example St. Petersburg

The methodological basis for assessing the level of socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation is considered. Groups of parameters that determine the level of regional economic security are systematized. On the example St. Petersburg and the regions territorially adjacent to the city, an assessment of the level of economic security was carried out using the presented methodology. The equilibrium coefficients of the level of socio-economic development of the selected subjects of the Russian Federation are calculated and the forecast values of the main indicators of economic security for St. Petersburg are determined.
