Based on the analysis and criticism of Liebig's teaching on the mineral nutrition of plants, the article proves the fallacy of the teaching and its inferiority in practice, which led to the liquidation of the USSR and the creation of conditions for the collapse of the Russian Federation. It is shown that measures to regulate prices and sell grain will not lead to the desired results. The necessity of institutional measures, without which the situation in Russia will only worsen, is justified.
