In the article, the authors conclude that the creation of a digital unified environ-ment in criminal proceedings, which would include the use of electronic document flow between government agencies and officials within the framework of criminal procedural relations, as well as the transition to fixing the procedural process, in in-cluding investigations, actions with the help of technical means and the preservation of their results in electronic form today is a necessary condition. The article formu-lates the possibility of using the blockchain technology on the example of criminal proceedings.
