The article presents a description of the tasks of social protection of civil servants as a systemof actions and measures that must be carried out by bodies authorized to implement social protectionof civil servants in order to achieve the goal of social protection of this category of working citizens ofUkraine. Depending on their focus, these tasks are proposed to be divided into: general - aimed at thesocial protection of the socio-economic and cultural rights of civil servants as citizens of Ukraine;special - aimed at their social protection as persons with a specific legal status.
