The article provides an overview of the museums, the collections of which contain materials on the history and culture of the Russian Germans in Western Siberia. A brief history of the formation and characteristics of the collections is given, source study and cognitive potential is revealed. Particular attention is paid to rural museums as the largest category among such museums.
