The article describes the study of the migration of the Mordovian population from Siberia and adjacent territories to the Russian Federation, the aspect of forming the attention of the population of Mordovia to resettlement based on the materials of some ethnographic expeditions and their results, which will subsequently make it possible to form a holistic picture of the ethnocultural life of the ethnic group in the Russian Federation.
