This publication is devoted to the consideration of the image of Siberia among the repressed Armenians who were deported to the region. The main sources of work were both written memoirs and oral sources. Analyzing the sources, the author reflects both the difficult natural conditions of Siberia and the attitude of the local population towards the deported Armenians. The author notes significant differences in the image of Siberia in written memoirs that were written by adults and in the oral stories of informants who were children at the time of expulsion.
