
Archaeological research in the Bolsherechensky, Kormilovsky, Muromtsevsky and Tarsky districts of the Omsk region in 2019

The results of work in the summer — autumn of 2019 in the territory of these areas are considered. Their basis was rescue excavations on a burial ground Seitovo IV of the XVI–XVIII centuries, the ancestors of the Tara Tatars. The result of the study of 7 graves was to informations on the most ancient stage in the formation of burial traditions of this population in the Middle Irtysh region. One of the areas of work during this period was the search for archaeological heritage sites left by the Tatars in this region. The result was a survey of settlements and cemeteries left in the XVIII–XX century and a number of appeared in the XVII–XVIII centuries and are currently in force. Their survey created the prerequisites for the study of the history and material culture of the Tatars in this period.
