The article materials of an iron armor from excavation of barrow № 1 on the burial ground October in Kuznetsk Depression are investigated the XI–XII the centuries. The description and classification of armor-clad plates is provided. To the allocated types analogies in the syanbiyskikh sources of Northern China and materials of the end of Iare given – began II thousand in the south of Western Siberia. The conclusion that the armor consisting of rigid and mobile parts of a protective armor was put in a grave is drawn.
