The article is devoted to the observance of Burkhanist traditions and rituals of worshiping the hearth fire in the traditional ayil, which has become the summer home of the Altai people and an ethnocultural marker. A comparative analysis of the collected field material on preserved cults and disappeared attributes known from published information is given.
