In the field of education, the demand for a special type of figurative representation of information - infographics, as well as its variety - geographic infographics - is increasing. For the first time, it is proposed to apply map infographics in art lessons in a professional gymnasium in order to develop the visual thinking of students. Specific examples of using the geographic infographics in drawing lessons have been developed and described. Methodological features of the application of the described method are disclosed. Its positive results are revealed.
