The significance of the performed research lies in the study of the contribution of the level of formation of educational motivation to the formation of the professional identity of students of various specialties. The features of the relationship between the type of professional identity and the educational motivation of students of various specialties are revealed. Prospects for the further successful (non-successful) course of educational activities of students of various specialties are formulated.
