The article analyses anti-religious activity of Tyumen Komsomol during the NEP. The study shows that this was the period of approbation of forms and methods of combating religious intoxication. Its main results were achieved in cities. The population of the rural territories of the region preserved their religious traditions. The worldview of young people turned out to be most susceptible to atheistic education.
