The paper presents the results of the experimental determination of the neutral surface radius during bending by the moment and their comparison with theoretical values. For this, a method has been developed for determining strains during two-corner bending using the Vic-3D system, which operates on the basis of digital image correlation (DIC). The measurement error and the limitation of the developed technique are determined.
