The Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical process control (SPC) are considered. On the example of the manufacturing process of rolled elongated cumulative charges (UKZ-P), the joint application of the above tools is presented to determine the reason for the appearance of defects in production. The necessity of performing an analysis of measurement systems before collecting data for statistical analysis of product quality is justified.
