This research is a descriptive research that uses a "regression" research design. This study aims to see: (1) there is a contribution to the explosive power of the legs to the ability to run 100 meters (2) there is a balance contribution to the ability to run 100 meters (3) there is a contribution to the explosive power of the legs and balance together on the ability to run 100 meters. The population is all students of SMP Negeri 1 Arungkeke, Jeneponto Regency. The sample used was 50 male students. The technique of determining the sample is by random selection by means of lottery (Simple Random Sampling). The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, pearson product moment correlation coefficient analysis (r), and regression analysis (R) through the SPSS 14 program at the significant level α = 0.05. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant contribution of leg explosive power to the ability to run 100 meters, with a β value of -0.528; (2) There is a significant contribution of balance to the ability to run 100 meters, with a β value of -0.410; (3) There is a significant contribution to the explosive power of the limbs and balance together on the ability to run 100 meters, the Rhitung (R) value is 0.810; and Rsquare
