В статье рассмотрен процесс становления туристической отрасли в Карелии в 1960е гг. Объектом исследования стали туристские ресурсы края. Автором установлены достоинства и недостатки Карелии как туристского объекта и выявлены причины превращения Карелии в регион этнического туризма. The article describes the process of formation of the tourism industry in Karelia in the 1960s. The object of the study was the tourist resources of the region. The author has established the advantages and disadvantages of Karelia as a tourist object and identified the reasons for the transformation of Karelia into a region of ethnic tourism.
