The recording of athletes’ physical game parameters is not only interesting, but extremely necessary to monitor the team’s evolution throughout the competitive season, in order to find the best methods and solutions concerning the regulation of effort volume and intensity within the training process. Thepurpose of the study was not to experiment was to explore, but to analyse the evolution of the CFR Cluj team, from the perspective of the physical factor. Within the case study method, we have used –for monitoring the effort parameters –the technology provided by InStat. The average total running distance of the entire team, per game, was 108,963 km; the average distance run at a speed between 5.5 –7 m/s was 7,647 meters, while the average distance run at a speed higher than 7 m/s was 963 m.
