The article is devoted to the study of such ways of preserving equivalence as lexical and grammatical transformations when translating from Russian into Chinese. The analysis of the degree and methods of preserving equivalence in translation from Russian into Chinese is carried out (complete in sixteen fragments, incomplete in thirty six fragments, four main types of lexical and grammatical transformations are identified: grammatical omissions, permutations of language elements, lexical omissions and lexical substitutions).
