The article considers the communicative and pragmatic structure of the story of a lifetime miracle as part of a hagiographic text. The authors examine the language techniques and means of representation of the “subject” parameter as the most stable genre feature. A typological study was carried out, and the communicative-pragmatic subtypes and linguistic ways of expressing the “subject” were identified.
