The article considers the problem of using distance-learning forms for children with special educational needs during the pandemic and self-isolation. The author highlighted the positive and negative aspects of remote technology, which turned out to be relevant and in demand due to its needs. Special attention is paid to the difficulties of distance learning for children with sensory pathology (visual and hearing impairment).
