This article discusses the main approaches to innovative problems in small enterprises related to both the peculiarities of the devel-opment of Russian small business and the mentality of decision-makers. The relation-ship between management innovations, the management system and a number of fac-tors characterizing the sustainability of deci-sions, product, economic potential, etc., has been determined.
