The article considers the concept of a logistics system, its relevance and significance in the modern world. To simplify and provide the most visual presentation of the material, schemes are constructed that give a general idea of the transport system, the functions of the transport and logistics system, and the basic principles of transport policy. In conclusion, the model of the transport and logistics system is described.
