The Author of the paper examines the phenomenon of references to the Polish Pope in works of the writer with evangelical roots. She scrutinizes the mentions about John Paul II in such pieces, as: Narty Ojca Świętego (The Holy Father's Skis), Spis cudzołożnic (List of adulteresses), Pod Mocnym Aniołem (The Mighty Angel) etc. The article, with its comparative approach, shows – in terms of the relevant issue – similarities and differences between Pilch's texts and their film adaptations and screenings.
