In the modern world, rapid changes are taking place based on the introduction of modern information technologies, leading to the digitalization of ecosystems, including social and economic systems (SES). Modern web technologies, which represent a huge information system, have an increasing influence on human life. In the course of its functioning, the information environment is exposed to negative influences from outside, with the aim of destructive impact on it. To maintain the goal of functioning of the information component of the system, it is necessary to have a properly constructed system and an adequate model of response to external influences. The SES response model will be based on the consideration of three processes, namely: the problem formation process, the problem identification process, and the problem neutralization (elimination) process. An indicator of the effectiveness of the functioning of ecosystems will be the likelihood that each problem will be identified and neutralized. The simulation results confirm the main directions in the development and functioning of the SES. The need for the development and subsequent application of methods and techniques that allow to achieve the set goal in a shorter time remains relevant and in demand, respectively, they will always be relevant and in demand. For a rational approach to making management decisions, the head responsible for the operation of the SES can use network planning, which will serve as a plan for carrying out the entire cycle of processes for maintaining the information security of the SES as a whole. The presence of a response model for the head of the SES will allow him to use his available resources in a timely manner to counteract disruptions in work and increase the efficiency of managerial decision-making.
