The article deals with the issue of disenfranchisement of rural residents in the second half of the 1920s on the territory of Eastern Siberia. The author came to the conclusion that the disenfranchise-ment of citizens of the country for economic, social and political reasons, as one of the measures of administrative influence, affected a significant part of the population of Eastern Siberia, and was also one of the main mechanisms of the Soviet government to control undesirable social groups
